About Us
PostersForHumans.com is the retail site for Cliché Posters
LLC, which is owned and operated by Ian Cox and David
Pricco. We are both recent college graduates from the
University of California Santa Barbara. David studied
Business Economics and Ian just completed his degree
in Psychology.
We started Cliché Posters in the begining of 2007 after
realizing that, despite our being friends with many
incredible artists, the only posters we could find to buy
for our apartments were lame, boring, and horribly clichéd.
How could this be? There is certainly no shortage of
unique art in the world, why was it that none of their
art, or art like theirs was available for sale?
We started this business as a means of bridging the gap
between new artists and the poster industry. As college
students we were surrounded by a whole community of
innovative painters, illustrators, photographers, and digital
artists. This combined with our collective psychology and
business backgrounds put us in the perfect position to help
out the friends and artists that we were close to. Our goal
was simple: help artists market their work, and in the
process, help people find cool new art.
The art that you hang on your wall is an expression of who
you are. There’s more to most of us than can be expressed
through Scarface, Bob Marley, cars and beer. On the other
hand we don’t all have the money to build a collection of
original paintings.
For the rest of us there is Posters for Humans.

I was wondering if you made cards, card stock, perhaps album covers or other variations of these posters? Is it just the posters that are available? Is there a way to get more information on these artists?
